Taskbuilder allows you to break a larger task into smaller, manageable subtasks. Subtasks help you organize work into smaller steps while keeping everything connected to the main task.
Creating a Subtask #
To create a subtask:
- Open the task where you want to add a subtask.
- Open the Subtasks section.
- Click Add Subtask.
- Enter the subtask details.
- Save the subtask.
The subtask will be displayed within the main task, allowing you to manage the smaller pieces of work without creating a completely separate project task.
Managing Subtasks #
Once a subtask has been created, you can manage it from the main task. Subtasks can be used to break down a task into individual steps and track the work required to complete the main task.
This makes it easier to see the work involved in a larger task and keep related activities organized in one place.
Convert a Subtask into a Task #
Taskbuilder also allows you to convert a subtask into a regular task.
If a subtask becomes large enough to require independent task management, you can convert it into a task rather than recreating it manually.
This gives you flexibility to start with a simple subtask and turn it into a full task when required.
Remove a Subtask #
If a subtask is no longer required, it can be removed from the main task using the available subtask controls.
Free Subtasks #
Subtasks are available in the free version of Taskbuilder.
With Free Subtasks, you can:
- Create subtasks within a task.
- Organize larger tasks into smaller steps.
- Convert a subtask into a regular task.
Subtasks provide a simple way to break down complex work while keeping related work connected to the original task.
