Taskbuilder allows you to assign WordPress registered users to projects and manage their access using role-based permissions.


๐Ÿ‘ฅ Add Users to Projects #

You can add any WordPress registered user to a project and assign them one of the following roles:

  • Manager
  • Co-worker
  • Client

Key Points: #

  • Users must be added to a project before assigning them to tasks
  • Only users within a project can be selected in that project’s tasks

๐Ÿ” Project Creation Permissions #

Who can create projects? #

  • WordPress Administrator
    • Can create projects by default
  • WPPM Administrator
    • Can create and manage all projects
    • Has full system access
  • WPPM Manager
    • Can create projects
    • Can manage all tasks within their created projects

๐Ÿ‘‰ You can assign WPPM Administrator or WPPM Manager roles by editing a WordPress user.

  • Full control over the entire system
  • Can manage all projects and tasks

  • Can create new projects
  • Can manage tasks within their projects

๐Ÿ“Œ Project Roles (Per Project) #

Each project supports 3 user roles:


๐Ÿ‘‘ Manager #

  • Manages assigned projects
  • Has full control over project tasks

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป Co-worker #

  • Can work on tasks assigned to them
  • Can update task progress and status

๐Ÿ‘ค Client #

  • Can create tasks
  • Can view tasks assigned to them
  • Limited access to project management
